Scientists Dispute Studies Saying Cellphones Do Not Increase Brain Tumour Risk
A group of scientists from the Environmental Health Trust (EHT) are refuting a study from last summer, which said cellphones do not lead to an increase of brain cancer in children and teenagers, according to a letter published Friday in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
The letter’s authors said the study’s data actually indicates a 115 percent increase in brain tumor risk for children after more than two years of having a cellphone subscription. Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association Publishes Position Paper on Wi-Fi In Schools
"There are growing health and safety concerns regarding the widespread use of technology, such as cellular phones and wireless computer networking (WiFi), which produce non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation. It is estimated that at least 3 per cent of the population has an environmental sensitivity to the radiation that is emitted by these devices and, as a result, experience serious immediate physical/biological effects when exposed."

American Academy of Environmental Medicine
On January 19, 2012, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine informed the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California that they oppose the installation of Smart Meters in homes. Their decision for this call to action comes from researching new literature which is pouring in from all over the world. They state that, "Chronic exposure to wireless radiofrequency radiation is a preventable environmental hazard that is sufficiently well-documented to warrant immediate preventative public health action."
